The A Series shelters are suitable for both juvenile and mature abalones. With a wide surface area and net structure, they align well with the natural activity patterns of abalone. Compared to the V Series, they are less affected by ocean currents and waves, making them ideal for high-current aquaculture sites.
The V Series shelters can also accommodate abalone at all growth stages. They have a shorter internal-to-external distance than the A Series, making it easier for abalone to feed. Available in various materials such as PET and more.
This type is mainly used in muddy or turbid water conditions. It allows for a higher stocking density and prevents sediment buildup more effectively than other models. However, it is relatively more expensive and provides less light shielding for abalone.
This patented product features an internal groove designed to securely hold net lines in place, preventing distortion. A long-time favorite among fishers for its durability and practicality.
